IQ test importance

The results of the IQ tests were used to justify certain scientifically unfounded policies and ideologies. This does not mean that the test is useless, it manages to measure the way of reasoning in solving the proposed problems, but it does not measure a person's potential.
Now the idea of classifing people according to a single numerical result is largely rejected.
In 1905 psychologist Alfred Binet and Theodore Simon created a test in France for children with learning difficulties, the method lays the fuondations of the IQ test.
